Spring Necklace Tutorials

I came across this tutorial post on Pinterest the other day, and think it needs a blog post all of it's own. This one is going to keep me busy over the next few weeks and is going to be the source of inspiration for my spring jewellery projects. It is posted on www.henryhappened.com, where there is a link to each project. I LOVE the multi-stranded seed bead necklace (right-hand side, 7th row down) and also really want to make the fabric feather necklace (right-hand side, 3rd row down). The first will be great for using up my stash of seed beads, and the second is great for using up fabric scraps. I took a trip to Hobbycraft today to stock up on any missing supplies (why is it that I never have enough clasps?).

Here is another tutorial for the multi-stranded seed bead necklace, from www.fourflightsoffancy.blogspot.com. I love the pastel shades against a plain white t-shirt, perfect for summer. It would look nice too in silver beads, to dress up a shirt on a night out. So many possibilities!

I like the simplicity of the Little Beads necklace (no.15 - left-hand side, 6th row down). I made one up this week using silver chain and turquoise beads. Here is a picture of the necklace I made:

I might make this one using a few different types of beads. There are also some more difficult ones that I would like to try like the Wire Wrapped Stone necklace (no. 23 - right-hand side, 8th row down). I bought the plastic backing to make this one but I might try using buttons instead of the stones. We'll see how it goes!
